American Episcopalians have elected a woman as the Presiding Bishop for the
first time in their history. My response: rejoice and again I say rejoice.

It was also reported in the press this week that she refereed to Jesus Christ as a woman...
In fact Bishop Schori referred to Jesus Christ as "our mother" which is a quote from the writings of the English mystic Mother Julian of Norwich from the 14th century! So not exactly novel.
